Manifest Money With Music: An Experiment

Upgrade Your Money-Manifesting Mindset with Music

Wait – I can manifest money?
Yes! Cold hard cash! I know this sounds ‘woo-woo’ but stick with me here. We already know that thoughts become things. Why not do an experiment to see if getting in the right mindset will help you bring more money into your life?

Why Music?
Music is so powerful – it can make us feel just about any emotion. Scientists have even found that music stimulates more parts of the brain than any other human function. That’s wild!

Think about this: Have you ever put on your favourite sad song when you’re in a bad mood? I’m guilty of this too – putting a sad song on makes me feel like I’m in a music video – plus it amplifies my sadness, allowing me to wallow more effectively.

If you can use music to amplify your sadness, you can do the opposite as well: you can use music to make you feel happier, more abundant, and even attract more money!

The words we say to ourselves (whether out loud or in our heads) have a huge affect on our lives. To put it simply: thoughts become things. Truly believing that you are abundant and happy will make you abundant and happy!

Now, let’s apply that fact to the music we listen to. Singing along to our favourite songs is fun, but if we’re trying to get in the money manifesting mindset, not all songs will get us there. Let’s do a fun experiment to see if we can’t raise our moods, as well as our bank accounts.

Manifest Money Experiment:

a. Get Your Head Right. Check out my posts about gratitude, limiting beliefs, and shadow work first. It’s important to do go deep before we can rise up – we need to believe it’s possible, and that we’re worth it. Note: getting your head right does take time, and it is also an on-going thing!

b. Set an intention. I love to say “I am open and ready to receive” or “I am a money magnet”.

c. Be thankful. Have you ever given someone a gift and they didn’t appreciate it? How likely are you to get them a gift again anytime soon? Same goes for the manifestation process. You’ve got to be grateful for what you already have in order to receive more (more on that in my gratitude post linked above).

d. Act as if. You can tell the universe (or god, or whatever term you use) that you are “so grateful for the money that is already on its way” to you. Or, you could even straight up say thank you for the specific amount of money you’re trying to manifest. The key is to say it as if you already have it – use the present tense.

e. Put on your favourite MMM (money manifesting mindset) playlist. My favourite songs are below on Spotify – if you prefer YouTube, you can also listen there! Turn the volume all the way up, belt out the lyrics, dance, and have a blast. Feel abundant, happy, and free!

f. Visualize. Kanye says it best in his song “Good Life” – “before I had it, I closed my eyes and imagine the good life”. He’s on to something – visualization is key. Many incredibly successful people use visualization – including Bianca Andreescu, Michael Phelps, and Will Smith. And they must be doing something right!

g. Keep an eye out. Then, keep your eyes peeled for the next few days. Are you attracting money? This could come in any form – unexpected discounts at the grocery store, gifts, finding money in old coats, or more sales in your business. Keep track!

Final Thoughts
So, when you’re dancing your heart out to “Yes” by LMFAO, huge smile on your face, picture your up-levelled self. Where are they? What are they doing? What are they wearing? What kinds of things do they say, buy, and think? Who do they surround themselves with? The music, along with your visualization, gratitude, and intention makes for a perfect storm of money manifestation.
